(ASC) is an omni-channel CLM, document management (any document or form type: quotes, orders, legal, corporate), quality management, and analytics provider. ASC Contracts – Core Contract Management Solution Engine
The company’s initial focus was to provide the telecommunications sector with quality products, professional services and managed solutions for order management, provisioning and problem management. This evolved into a focus on developing custom contract management software solutions for leading communications, financial services, and energy and utilities companies. This experience was drawn on for the development of ASC Contracts™, a web-based, enterprise-ready contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform that provides a rich suite of tools to automate and simplify the complete buy-side and sell-side lifecycle and business processes associated with creating and managing contracts and legally binding agreements. The ASC Contracts software includes a complete online repository of contract data, the ability to capture contract images, contract approvals routing workflow management and support for a wide range of contract types and processes including Account Open in financial services, Traffic Imbalance and cost of goods sold (COGS) solutions in telecom and communications, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) for energy and utilities. ASC Contracts has been the nucleus or core engine for the overall ASC contract management system and business process solution offering since 2001.
Growing Software Portfolio -- Contracts, Documents, Forms and Pricing and Quoting
The ASC portfolio grew from the original contract management focus to include end-to-end solutions for contract lifecycle management (CLM), document management, form management and pricing and quoting management (including account open, sales configuration and product configuration). These additional solutions complement and extend the value of ASC Contracts for broader, continued application and benefits for customers. The extended portfolio is well suited for any industry (such as communications, financial services, energy and utilities, legal services, healthcare, government and education) and organizations of all sizes and complexities.
mdf commerce Acquisition and Source-to-Contract Evolution
As part of the mdf commerce, ASC utilizes the integrated modules of its sister companies MERX (a prominent Canadian sourcing automation provider) and BidNet/BidNet Direct (a pioneering US sourcing automation provider) to extend its portfolio to encompass full strategic sourcing and enterprise CLM. These partnerships enable ASC to provide extensive sourcing and CLM functionality across a multitude of market verticals with easy scalability for small, mid-sized, and enterprise businesses.
