ASC Contracts Security Statement

Advanced Software Concepts (ASC) uses the most advanced technology for Internet security available today. When you access our site using Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 5.5+, Netscape 6+ & FireFox 1+, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects your information using both server authentication and data encryption, ensuring that your data is safe, secure, and available only to registered users in your organization. Your data is completely inaccessible to your competitors.

ASC provides each user in your organization with a unique user name and password that must be entered each time a user logs into the site. ASC issues a session "cookie" only to record encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session. The session "cookie" does not include either the username or password of the user. Advanced Software Concepts does not use "cookies" to store other confidential user and session information, but instead implements more advanced security methods based on dynamic data and encoded session IDs.

In addition, asccontracts.com is hosted in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. All reasonable precautions are taken to ensure that your personal information is kept safe from loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. We have put together the following safeguards:

  • Premises Security, with badge access to all facilities and Iris scanners to server farm
  • Restricted access to document and data storage area
  • Authorized access to digital data, using that latest technological means, including, and not limited to, firewalls, Certificates, and Security software

The executive team consists of technical staff from various information system teams. The security team meets on a regular basis to discuss current and potential threats in addition to reviewing deliverables for further increasing the security of our systems. In addition, all employment agreements include security responsibilities. Document procedures and company culture result in the timely reporting of security incidents to the IT security coordinator to ensure prompt corrective action.
